Here is your 2014 Natural Disasters Project
Research a real life natural disaster

PART A Due 11 th September
You can choose your own questions to explore any natural disaster.

What do you want to find out about a natural disaster?
Your project needs to be an explanation text that includes at least 6 questions and includes HOW and WHY questions, which are answered in detail.

What maps, diagrams, graphs etc will you choose to support your written or spoken information?

What is still CHALLENGING or confusing for you to get your mind around?

What questions, wonderings or puzzles do you now have?

Include complex information.

Remember not to write closed questions with a "yes" or "no" answer or just a few words.

You need to present the information digitally.
Part B is the model.

Model of your natural disaster

  • Create a model of your natural disaster, which demonstrates what happens when the natural disaster occurs.

Plan your model. Include a labeled diagram; identify and list materials used to make it. Include the written procedure you used to make the model & explain how your model works. Prepare an oral presentation.
